Madhu Uppal is an education consultant who previously served as a middle school science teacher and the director of science programs for two large suburban school districts. She is also an entrepreneur and in 2012 released a music CD, Rang Punjabi. She is a freelance writer whose articles have appeared in various newspapers. She has a doctorate (Ed. in Educational Leadership and an MS in Foods and Nutrition.
She is serving as a trustee of the Naperville Public Library. In addition, she is on the Board of Directors of Apna Ghar and serves as the secretary. She is also a member of the board of the Club of Indian Women. She was one of the founding members of Hindu Satsang and has served it in various capacities over the years, including as the general coordinator.
Madhu lives in Naperville, IL with her husband Jug Uppal.
